Travee Wins the Main Prize of Phase 1 at the Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition 2025
Travee, the AI-native travel app from Berlin, has won the main prize of the first phase of the Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition (BPW) 2025. At the first awards ceremony on January 29, 2025, held at the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) in Potsdam, Travee prevailed against 217 submitted concepts.
The Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition is Germany's largest regional startup initiative. It is jointly organized by Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) and Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) and runs across three independent competition phases, each concluding with its own awards ceremony.
As one of the ten nominated teams, Travee pitched in advance before a panel of expert judges and, at the awards ceremony, in front of 300 guests including representatives from politics and business. The main prize of €10,000 was presented by ILB board member Kerstin Jöntgen and Brandenburg's Economic Minister Daniel Keller.
For us, the BPW main prize is more than just prize money — it is confirmation that our vision of reshaping travel also convinces an expert jury. In a short film, we presented our mission with Travee to a wider audience.
Travee also entered the third phase of the BPW 2025 and finished in 2nd place there. This means Travee placed among the top teams in two phases of the BPW 2025 — with the main prize in Phase 1 and 2nd place in Phase 3.
"The BPW main prize is confirmation for us that we are on the right track with our company," says Co-Founder Conrad Mildenstrey. Beyond the financial recognition, the award reinforces our commitment to continue developing Travee and bringing it to market.
